The provincial government will once again be displaying banners remembering missing and murdered women and girls during this year’s Purple Ribbon Campaign.
The annual campaign launch and flag-raising ceremony held on November 25th, features memorial banners and families are being invited to contact the office of Women and Gender Equality if they want their loved one honoured in that way.
Families are being encouraged to reach out by email or phone.
The deadline for requests is September 30th.
