The gymnastics club in Glovertown has ceased operations and called in the RCMP.
Police are investigating allegations of fraud within the Hurricanes Gymnastics Club.
In a Facebook post, board members say while the club will be closed for the upcoming season, this is not the end of the journey for the athletes. They encourage the young ones to keep working hard, and say the Hurricanes will return as a strong, thriving organization.
