The city of Mount Pearl says its annual Haunting of Power’s Pond Halloween fundraising event raised $19,960.50 for local food banks.
That’s a record amount from the event and nearly double the amount raised in 2025.
The money will be divided among the St. Vincent de Paul food banks at St. Peters, Mary Queen of the World, and the Salvation Army.
