A woman is in the lockup after a violent incident at an establishment on George Street.
The RNC were called to the downtown area around one o’clock this morning where they located an employee who had serious injuries to his arm.
Officers located a female suspect inside but she became combative while they were trying to arrest her. They were able to get the 27-year-old to the lockup but, once again, she became combative.
She has been charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats, property damage, resisting arrest and assaulting a peace officer.
