RCMP are hoping the public can help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that sideswiped another earlier this month and was likely damaged as a result.
The two vehicles collided on the Conception Bay Highway between Holyrood and Chapel’s Cove around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 3rd.
RCMP were contacted by a driver who reported that his vehicle was hit by a dark-coloured vehicle that was heading toward Holyrood on the Concpetion Bay Highway, crossed over the centre line, and sideswiped his.
The suspect vehicle did not stop and went on despite being damaged.
Police say the suspect vehicle may have a broken side mirror, a flat tire or tires, and damage to the body or rims.
