Two men from Quebec have been arrested and charged after a traffic stop on the Trans Labrador Highway resulted in the seizure of drugs, and cash.
RCMP stopped the vehicle near Happy Valley-Goose Bay on May 12th as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers seized quantities of suspected cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine as well as more than $100,000 in cash.
Sixty-two-year-old Robert Miron and 41-year-old Jean Forest of Quebec have been charged trafficking and possession, as well as possession of stolen goods and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
Both are scheduled to appear in court in July.
The investigation continues and further charges are possible.
