Police on the Avalon Peninsula have nabbed two heavy-footed drivers this week.
A 19-year-old man was stopped by RCMP on the TCH eastbound near Foxtrap after being clocked at 70km/h over the speed limit.
On Thursday, the same officer was patrolling Veteran’s Memorial Highway near Bay Roberts and spotted a vehicle going 63km/h over the limit.
As a result, a 30-year-old man was ticketed.
Both men had their vehicles impounded and driver’s licenses suspended.
