The calendar says June, but it doesn’t feel like it out there across much of the island.
Cold wet weather and even some wet, sloppy snow are the order of the day today.
Environment Canada meteorologist Melissa Field says some relief is expected later this week.
She says temperatures could reach the double digits for most of the island by mid-week, and could reach as high as the upper teens through central Newfoundland and the west coast, with a mix of sun and cloud.
