Braya Renewable Fuels has completed its very first sale of renewable diesel to the Canadian market.
The company has sold 100,000 barrels of renewable diesel to an unnamed Canadian customer, with the possibility of more deliveries.
Refinery Manager Paul Burton says the sale comes as the result of “dedication, determination, and resilience.”
CEO Todd O’Malley says the expansion of its customer base into the Canadian energy market is a goal they set to achieve when operations began two years ago.
The provincial government provided the company with a five-year $25 million repayable loan last year to help offset labour costs.
