A Corner Brook man is dead but another was rescued after a boat overturned on Gillams Pond Monday night.
RNC responded around 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports that two men were in the water.
A bystander managed to rescue one of the men, who was taken to hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening. The second man, however, could not be immediately located.
Following an extensive search, police recovered his body a few hours later.
Investigators do not suspect foul play, but the investigation is ongoing.
