Police in Port Saunders have wrapped up their operation and are notifying residents they can resume normal activities.
RCMP will remain in the area as their investigation continues.

There is an increased police presence in Port Saunders this afternoon due to an ongoing investigation in the area.
RCMP say there is no immediate threat to the general public, but they ask that residents avoid areas where officers are present to allow them to conduct their work.
Police are asking the public to refrain from posting images, video and information about police activities and locations in the interest of public and police safety.
Port Saunders RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating 33-year-old Tyler James Melvin Bennett who has a warrant out for his arrest.
