RCMP on the Great Northern Peninsula are looking into vandalism caused to the Pride crosswalk outside French Shore Academy in Port Saunders.
Police were contacted after school staff discovered that someone had painted hateful slurs and comments on the crosswalk on Roncalli Drive.
RCMP say the vandalism occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 20th and the following day when it was discovered.
