The city of St. John’s has issued an RFP for affordable housing under its new Land Disposition Program.
The Request for Proposals is inviting qualified non-profits, charities and development partnerships to submit proposals for the development of affordable housing on city-owned land at 23-31 Plymouth Road across from Factory Lane in the downtown.
The property is the first site being offered up through the city’s program.
The city says proposals will be evaluated on affordability, financial feasibility, organizational capacity, design quality, accessibility and project readiness.
