A man was rushed to hospital with injuries which are serious, but not life-threatening after what appears to be a stabbing in the east end.
The 46-year-old was assaulted at about 10:30 yesterday morning on Churchill Avenue in Pleasantville.
The man who is suspected of being the attacker fled the area before the RNC arrived, but they arrested him minutes later. Forty-four year-old Daniel Holland has been charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He is being held for court.
