Police need help from the public in solving a break-and-enter at a business on the west coast.
Just before 2:30 Wednesday morning, somebody forced open a basement door of Lucy’s Bar in Kippens. The would-be thief tried to get into the cash box of the ATM, but was unsuccessful. However, RCMP say the machine was extensively damaged as was the electrical panel next to the building.
No cash or merchandise was stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities.
