One lane of the Burin Peninsula Highway south of Terrenceville is now open to alternating traffic. Delays are expected in the area following a collision earlier today.
RCMP are asking drivers to follow all directions from first responders at the scene and drive with caution.

The Burin Peninsula Highway is currently closed in both directions because of a car crash.
The accident happened just south of the Terrenceville turn-off.
Police and other first responders are on the scene. RCMP say efforts are being made to get a single lane open to alternating traffic, but there will be delays regardless.
Additional full closures will be necessary at various times throughout the day.
