The annual Kids Eat Smart Radiothon will be hitting the airwaves on the VOCM/Big Land Radio Network this afternoon.
The annual fundraiser helps raise funds for breakfast clubs at schools right across the province.
Executive director Celina Stoyles says the organization helps to serve over 47,000 meals every morning to thousands of students.

Stoyles says this is the organization’s most important fundraiser.
With rising costs, more children are having to make use of the breakfast programs at school. Rising costs are also making it more difficult for the organization to stretch a dollar.
Today’s radiothon airs noon – 4 p.m. on the VOCM/Big Land FM Radio Network.
