This is the St. George’s Day holiday, meaning many municipal and provincial government offices will be closed.
For the most part, everything outside of government offices will remain open today, including stores as it is not a shops closing holiday.
In St. John’s, that means all recreation facilities will be open, garbage will be collected as scheduled, and city paid parking by-laws will be in effect.
Federal services like banks and Canada Post are not included.
