More information is emerging on an expansion of the Newfoundland and Labrador Prescription Drug plan.
The plan gets an extra $22-million to cover new drugs being added to the list – one (Winrevair) for treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, another (Fruzaqla) for colorectal cancer, and one (Tagrisso) for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.
Other new drugs are being added to the benefit list as national price negotiations conclude.
