The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating following a hit-and-run in St. John’s.
The RNC were called just before 10 p.m. last night to reports of a two-vehicle collision in the eastbound lane of Pitts Memorial Drive, past the Kilbride exit.
There were no injuries.
Police say the suspect vehicle, a grey 2012 Subaru Outback with an NL license plate HXD-629, continued in the eastbound lane after the collision, eventually hitting a concrete wall before reaching downtown.
The vehicle, which was extensively damaged, was abandoned before police arrived.
The driver has not been found.
