Quebec Premier Christine Fréchette says an agreement on Hydro development on Churchill Falls will come “very soon.”
Canadian Premiers are meeting this week in PEI and are set to speak with Prime Minister Mark Carney this afternoon.
Premier Tony Wakeham says his negotiating team will continue to work with Quebec, while Frechette believes the deal will come sooner rather than later.
“I will get the opportunity to meet with Premier Wakeham in order to discuss the agreement, current agreement that is being negotiated and I’m pretty confident that we will get to a conclusion of this agreement pretty soon,” she told reporters.
