Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew says American booze won’t be returning to shelves in his province.
Kinew pulled no punches in his assessment of U.S. President Donald Trump, his tariff threats and trade tactics.
“Iran started when he was getting clobbered on the Epstein files, and then he laid this threat when he was getting clobbered domestically on the cost of living,” Kinew claims.
“So, he’s always trying to change the channel on this stuff. We’re taking advantage of the fact that he’s paying attention to Canada, but I just wonder if accepting the idea that Trump tariffs are here forever is the move where we wanted to give up some of that leverage that we’ve had until now.”
