The RNC is investigating after a Memorial University employee was assaulted while working in their office on the St. John’s campus yesterday.
Memorial University has notified staff of the incident.
MUN says the victim is “safe at home” and is being offered supports.
The university says video footage of a person of interest has been supplied to the RNC, and Campus Enforcement will increase patrols.
MUN says staff, students and visitors are being advised of the incident so they can “take appropriate precautions while on campus alone.”
