We don’t have details of the package but the location tells us that the measure will have a lot do with the expense of owning and driving a vehicle.
There are dozens of categories of taxes and fees related to being on the road but the driver’s license and vehicle registration costs hit most more frequently.
The news conference slated for Monday morning at 10:30 at the Motor Vehicle in Mount Pearl according to Finance Minister Craig Pardy. He will be joined by two members of the PC Caucus: St. George’s-Humber MHA Hal Cormier and Lewisporte Twillingate MHA Mark Butt.
VOCM News will be there.
