Expect shovels in the ground as early as this spring if the definitive agreements on Churchill Falls are signed by the end of the year.
That’s according to Premier Tony Wakeham who says they intend to get hydro development work started as soon as possible.
“And all the prelim work that goes ahead of that,” says Wakeham. “The great news is of course, (that) the federal government has agreed to send this to the major projects list; that’s a key for this.”
