One man is dead following a crash on the TCH just outside of St. John’s last Friday, which involved a dump truck and three other vehicles.
Emergency crews were called to an area east of the Danny Drive Interchange just after 12:00 p.m.
According to the RCMP, information suggests that an eastbound vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, colliding with the dump truck and two other vehicles.
One of the drivers, a 48-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries in hospital over the weekend. Occupants from the other vehicles were also taken to hospital, however no details are available about the extent of their injuries.
The office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been engaged.
The RCMP are looking for anyone with information, including dash cam footage, to contact them.
