A man charged with attempted murder following an incident in Mount Pearl last year has entered not guilty pleas to the charges.
Colin Gerard English appeared in court via telephone Thursday afternoon.
English was arrested last July following an incident at a home on Michener Avenue during which a 72-year-old man was seriously injured.
In addition to the charge of attempted murder, English is facing two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of assault with a weapon, robbery, mischief, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
English’s trial will take place from December 14th to the 18th of this year. A pre-trial conference is set for September 17th.
